LakeWood
Like the exclusivity of OakWood, LakeWood has its own entrance
drive crossing a preserved forest and leading under the canopy of a
Live Oak hammock into 27 home sites. The lots of LakeWood are at
least 70' wide and over 150' deep. There are only six lots which
enjoy a lakeside setting with views to the forest, and the
neighborhood's other 21 lots have backyards on conservation lands.
The northeast half of LakeWood is distinguished with a dense
cluster of high-canopied Southern Live Oaks with saw palmetto
understory. One lucky resident was awarded the right to name
the street in LakeWood a name of her choice, her selection:
"Berenstain Drive".
