Oakwood has its very own entranceway and arrival sequence unlike any other in the neighborhood. The driveway into OakWood weaves through a 600' long landscaped open space to access only 24 home sites. The lots in OakWood are about 70' wide by 140' deep. Many of the rear yards open onto conservation lands and 10 of the lots have back yards with towering Live Oak trees and a clear, park-like understory. OakWood is a distinctive neighborhood in the framework of the King & Bear, not a golf course oriented or lake oriented neighborhood, but a sylvan and shady forest community. One lucky resident was given the opportunity to name the OakWood Street a name of her choice, her selection: "Paddington Place".
