World Golf Village is home to two world-class championship golf courses, built for the enjoyment of pros and weekend players alike. The first and only course in the world co-designed by golf greats Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the King & Bear is 7,279 yards of challenging play through scenic pines and live oaks. The Slammer & Squire, designed by course architect Bobby Weed with player consultants and Hall of Fame members Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen, gives golfers views of the World Golf Hall of Fame from several holes, which are set against a backdrop of preserved woodlands and wetlands.
Both courses are par-72 and feature five tees per hole to accommodate play of all levels. Each has its own clubhouse with a pro shop, locker room lounges, a bar with outdoor patio dining and gourmet dining room.
At the World Golf Village, test your skills at the 132-yard island green challenge hole, modeled after the famed 17th hole of the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, or the 18-hole, real grass putting course with greens designed to USGA specifications. For the ultimate in golf lessons, take advantage of the PGA TOUR's Golf Academy programs, focused on personalized instruction for every aspect of your game.
